First Hike Day
Take a Saturday walk with a NCMNS-Whiteville Museum educator on Saturday, January 4, in Fair Bluff for the Lumber River Riverwalk from 10 am to noon. We will meet at the boat launch and spend up to two hours on the wheelchair accessible boardwalk, which just reopened in November. The trail is approximately .63 miles in and out, for a total distance of 1.25 miles. Park by the boat launch near the Lumber River Visitor's Center: 1054 Main St, Fair Bluff, NC 28439.
