Boys & Girls Homes Fall Civic Club Day

Our upcoming Fall Civic Club Day for Boys & Girls Homes is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Oct. 10. We are excited to welcome you and your fellow club members back to our Lake Waccamaw campus for a fun-filled day of fellowship, games, friendly competition, and lunch with the kids! For our light-hearted competition that day, each civic club will compete against the other clubs in a series of games for a chance to win the Fall Civic Club Day Trophy! The winning club’s trophy will be proudly displayed in their sponsored cottage until next year’s Fall Civic Club Day, when everyone will have a chance to compete for it again! Following lunch, we will come together for a hands-on campus beautification project. Each club will work at their cottage to put down fresh pine straw around the flower beds. BGHNC will provide all of the pine straw needed to complete the project. We are looking forward to a wonderful day of fellowship, fun, service, and a little friendly competition! Most importantly, it is another opportunity to strengthen the relationships between our civic clubs and the children and staff of BGHNC.
