DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to take part n this year's Relay For Life of Columbus County.  Relay For Life began in 1985 when one man\, Dr. Gordy Klatt wanted to do something to help raise funds for cancer research.  The first Relay was held in Tacoma\, Washington.  Dr. Klatt is proof that one person can change the world and make a difference as Relay For Life now expands globally and is the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society.  Relay For Life  of Columbus County will be held Friday\, April 21 from 11am.-11pm  Teams from across the county will set up campsites around the track at SCC and walk throughout the event to fight back against cancer.
